What is this about?

The strengthening of the women’s movement is an important conversation for women all over the world, especially because the way women conduct business, allows the contribution to a green economy and growth of sustainable construction as a whole.

Why is it important?

In this meeting, we celebrate together the growth of women in our industry, as great leaders of sustainability, and their legacy in shaping the sustainable building movement. We also gather new participants in the movement to encourage, inspire, guide and motivate other women. The intention is to strengthen women’s empowerment of different generations.​

What was my involvement?

Coordinated the first and second events in Brazil, inviting speakers and deciding the theme and content of presentations. Participated as a speaker (2015) and panel moderator (2016) in the Women in Green Power Breakfast hosted by Greenbuilding Brasil, the biggest event on sustainable construction in the country.
